Did something get left behind at camp? We’ll have it on display on Saturday, September 5th from 9-11am at Grace Presbyterian Church in Orleans, and again on Saturday, September 12th at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Nepean from 9-11am.

Our lost and found collection includes dozens of adult and children’s T-shirts, pants, jackets and sweaters, a few pairs of shoes and rubber boots, a sleeping bag, and a few towels.

After September 12th, the lost-and-found will become a rummage sale! Any items still left unclaimed will be donated to the Salvation Army.

See your camp friends again and help us raise money to build up our campsite! On Saturday, August 15, 2009, we’re hosting our second annual 1 Under The Son beach volleyball tournament! Get together 6-10 of your friends and form a team, and join us for a fun day at the beach with music, BBQ, great prizes and more!

Can you believe it?  Four weeks of summer camp just flew by!  Thanks to all the campers and staff who made history by being part of the first summer ever at our new campsite!  We had a great time and we’re looking forward to seeing you all again soon! Watch our site for photos and other updates!

There’s only a few days to go until camp starts!  We’ve received our building occupancy permits for our BRAND NEW cabins, and we’re working hard to get everything ready for you!  If you have registered as a camper or staff member, you should have received an email with several attachments including a packing list and a map to our new campsite.  Please contact us if you need this information resent.  Parents, please note you can mail letters to your children at camp — just click the “Contact” link for the address!

With just a few weeks left to go before camp starts, we still have a lot of work to be done! If YOU want to help out (and earn some volunteer hours!) we invite you to join us for the weekend of June 12-14. As always, we’ll provide food and lodging.

Our volunteer work week begins on Friday, May 1st and goes through May 10th. Over this period, we hope you will join us as we build our new cabins and prepare our campsite for this summer! We would like to express our thanks for everyone who came out to our second annual Silent Auction, which was held on Friday, April 17, at Cedarview Alliance Church.  Decorated in khakis and camo, ammo boxes and scrubs, our dinner took on the life of a M*A*S*H episode (there was even a still — serving lemonade, of course!)

You took home framed art, iPods, digital cameras, cottage weekends, gift certificates, and numerous raffle prizes including gift cards and camp T-shirts.  Thanks to you, and to all of the generous donors who provided the merchandise, we were able to raise a total of $6,000! 

We appreciate all your enthusiastic support and look forward to seeing you again at our next event!

We’ve just turned on our new online registration system!  Now you can pay for your camper registrations online using your credit card, and once you’ve completed your registration, you’ll receive confirmation right away that you got the cabin and the activities that you wanted!  The system will also save your profile for when you register again next year!

Because this is new, we ask that you please let us know right away if you encounter any problems.  Please call (613) 288-5806 or email us and we will be happy to assist if you have any questions or issues with the online system.

If you have already registered, our registrar will enter your information into the new system for you, and we will contact you with instructions to activate your new online account.

If you’ve been monitoring our website over the past several weeks you have no doubt watched the transition as we are moving to an updated website design.  Over the coming weeks we will continue to make improvements and add photos and much more information.  We are very receptive to suggestions — please contact us if you have ideas!

Within the next few weeks you will also see a significant upgrade to our online registration system.  Your camper information will soon be saved in a password-protected profile (no more retyping!); you will be able to pay online using your credit card, and your registration will be immediately confirmed — no more waiting to see if you made it into the division or activities you requested! We’re very excited about this new system and look forward to rolling it out very soon.
