Required Camp Knowledge
Camp is a fun and exciting place to be and when it runs well it must seem very simple to the camper. We staff know better though that camp is like a well oiled machine. For camp to run well, all staff must know basic information about camp, their role within it, and policies and procedures which guide all. This ensures our customers (campers and their parents) are happy, civil regulations and association requirements are met and ultimately that Jesus our Lord is glorified in all that happens at camp.
The following chapters outline all the information staff are responsible for knowing. Each chapter has a small quiz to test your knowledge. Go to the chapter link, read through it then take the quiz. You will notice that much of the information in these chapters is also found in the staff handbook so going through it first may help you get through these more quickly.
