        Join us on Saturday, February 11 for this elegant evening event! You’ll enjoy a delicious catered dinner starting at 6pm followed by an evening of music and dancing. You’ll have the opportunity to bid on many exciting products and services in our silent auction, including framed artwork, home electronics, restaurant and entertainment packages, services such as music lessons, piano tuning or duct cleaning, cottage getaway packages and lots more! To add to the fun, there will be raffles, gift baskets, door prizes and giveaways!

        This year the event is being held at the lovely Sala San Marco Banquet and Conference Center, located at 215 Preston Street in Ottawa.

        100% of the proceeds from this fundraising event will go toward building and construction projects at Camp Cherith. We will share some of our long-term plans from the camp Building Committee and you’ll see what an amazing difference your past support has already made up at camp!

        An orientation session for new staff members. We’ll cover the essentials: who we are, where the campsite is, how it’s set up, what a typical day looks like, and your responsibilities as a volunteer. You’ll have an opportunity to ask questions and meet some of your fellow staff members as you prepare for summer!

        In addition to this orientation session, please also plan to attend the “all staff” training weekend up at camp to be held from June 22-24.

        We look forward to seeing you at camp this summer!

        All volunteer staff are requested to attend this training weekend up at the campsite. New for 2012: This is the only training weekend you need to attend, so please make plans to be there!

        The weekend before Week One, what we previously called “in camp training”, will no longer be a mandatory training weekend; instead, we’ll use that time to set up the campsite, relax and hang out before the campers arrive!

        We’ve got a new training schedule planned including a “mock day at camp” which we will be announcing soon!
